We can provide care using sedation dentistry, dental sedation, IV sedation if necessary and also use the Dental Wand for patients who suffer from needle phobia or just prefer a more comfortable injection.

Routine Dental Care & Cosmetic Treatments

In addition to nervous patient care, the practice has been providing routine preventative care and a full range of cosmetic treatments to patients and their families from Nottingham and the surrounding areas since the 1980’s and continues to register patients on a daily basis.

Dental Implants

Our specialist oral surgeon Robert Bolt is a Clinical Lecturer and registered Specialist in Oral Surgery. He is both Medically and Dentally qualified and is Director of the University of Sheffield’s “One-to-One” dental implantology course.

After qualifying as a Specialist, he completed a period of extended training in Oral Surgery which included complex surgery relating to dental implantology, and has been awarded FDS in Oral Surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons.

Rob is able to offer the full range of implant surgery and is happy to meet with you for a consultation to see how implants could help you to replace your missing teeth.

Patient Experience

The whole team at Impressions Dental Care are committed to ensuring that your experience of our practice is a positive one and we welcome your comments or suggestions at all times. Please take the time to read some of our patient testimonials.

Your First Dental Appointment at Impressions Dental Care

We like to ensure that our patients do not feel rushed and have plenty of time to discuss their requirements and concerns with their dentist and that there is sufficient time to carry out a full and thorough examination. Your new patient examination will usually take between 45 minutes to an hour and include an extensive examination of your mouth including an update of your medical history, oral cancer screening, soft tissue, jaw and joints, glands, neck, bite, existing restorations, crowns, bridges and dentures, decay, chewing muscles and gums, oral hygiene and tooth wear.

If necessary we will also take digital intra-oral and pan-oral X-rays and intra-oral photographs of your mouth.(included at no extra cost)

Once your examination is complete, if treatment is necessary your dentist will discuss your options with you in detail and provide you with written treatment plans and estimates for your consideration. They will also prepare a preventative maintenance plan to enable you to maintain a healthy mouth and minimise the need for treatment in the future.

Following Your First Dental Appointment

After your first appointment, you are more than welcome to book your appointments or take your treatment plan away to consider. Reception staff will be more than happy to discuss payment options with you, including 0% finance options.

We fully appreciate that during your first appointment, you will be given a lot of information, especially with larger or cosmetic treatment plans and naturally may have further questions when you get home. With this in mind, you are more than welcome to contact the practice with any queries, where a member of staff will be happy answer your questions or arrange for you to speak with your dentist over the telephone or to pop in to see them.

Your Comfort

The comfort of our patients and their families is of the utmost importance to us and our aim is to provide the highest level of dental care possible using the very latest techniques and equipment.

Dental Surgeries

Our surgeries are air-conditioned and we have a private consultation area to enable our dentists to talk to patients in a more relaxed none clinical environment. Patients often comment on how relaxing they find the atmosphere and their experience of our practice in general. Our staff welcome the opportunity to chat with patients and are happy to provide refreshments on request to make your time in our waiting room as relaxing as possible

Relaxed Environment

At Impressions Dental Care in Nottingham, in general we have tried to create an informal, relaxed, yet professional environment. Our waiting area is more of a lounge area with comfy leather sofas, light wood floors, soft background music, glossy magazines and flat panel screen.

Dental Plans for Children

We have a number of dental plans for children and encourage our patients to bring their children when they come for their own routine dental check-ups, even when they are too young to have teeth. This helps them to become familiar with the staff and the surroundings at the practice.

Do I Have to Live in Nottingham to Register With You?

No, It does not matter where you live, we currently have patients who travel from as far afield as Scotland and Wales.

New Patients Always Welcome

New patients are always welcome and we look forward to the opportunity of providing your dental care in the future. Why not call us to discuss your requirements or arrange to pop in and have a look around the practice and meet the team.
